FIDA Worldwide Becomes MORBRI
After more than seven years of building a global creative community, FIDA Worldwide is entering a new chapter.
Rather than looking externally for a new identity, we looked to the people, values and heritage that have shaped the organisation from the very beginning.
Today, we are proud to introduce MORBRI.
MORBRI is formed by combining the surnames of FIDA's co-founders, Patrick Morgan and Diane Schembri. It is a name that represents partnership, family and the meeting of cultures. With roots in Ireland, Malta and the United Kingdom, it reflects the diverse heritage that has always underpinned the organisation and the international community it has brought together.
Since its launch, FIDA has championed creativity without borders. It has connected artists, designers, educators and industry leaders from around the world, celebrating the exchange of ideas across cultures, disciplines and generations.
MORBRI captures that spirit in a single name.
It symbolises the coming together of different backgrounds, perspectives and experiences. It celebrates the richness that comes from cultural exchange and reflects the belief that creativity is at its strongest when it is shared.
This new identity also recognises the partnership at the heart of the organisation. From the outset, MORBRI has been built on the complementary strengths of its two founders. It is especially important to acknowledge Diane Schembri, whose leadership, vision and commitment have been instrumental in shaping one of the world's leading platforms for fashion illustration, live creative events and international awards. As a female founder and creative leader, her contribution deserves to be recognised and celebrated as part of this new chapter.
While our name is changing, our purpose remains unchanged.
We will continue to champion emerging talent, foster international collaboration, build meaningful partnerships and create opportunities for creatives across the world.
MORBRI is not a departure from FIDA.
